Like so many businesses across Norfolk and the UK, Norwich Cosmetic Clinic was forced to shut our doors to the public throughout Lockdown.
However, this did not stop us from keeping busy and we continued to operate throughout. In the first instance, we were very proud of our Doctors, who were on call to support the NHS during the crisis. We were also pleased to be able to react to this new situation by immediately opening our product postal service, which enabled you to order your favourite skincare products to be delivered free of charge to you at home. This was extremely well received and we were pleased to see so many orders coming in. We were also available throughout lockdown on the phone, via email and social media and received lots of questions from clients around their skincare routine and concerns they had during lockdown. So it was great that we were able to pivot the business to be able to continue to support our clients despite lockdown.
Behind the scenes, we were also extremely busy getting the Clinic ready for when we could open to the public once again. So we used the time to completely redecorate the building from top to bottom - so all six floors, including our waiting room, reception and the stairways, received a complete make-over. We also addressed any issues with the building to ensure that everything is in exceptional working order and would be ready for our clients when we reopened.
That said, we are absolutely thrilled to be back, with the doors to the Clinic well and truly open. Our Doctors are now seeing patients for consultations and our qualified skincare practitioners are able to do some non close-contact work with their clients. We had hoped to resume close-contact facial treatments on 1st August, but we are obviously closely following Government guidelines, and this is not currently possible. However, we are hopeful that we can resume this week by 20th August and will keep you updated accordingly.
So we would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who continued to support Norwich Cosmetic Clinic during Lockdown and who have returned since opening. A huge thank you also to our team who have reacted so well and coped brilliantly. It is challenging times for everyone and it has been heartening to see our community pull together and support one another in the way that we have and we very much look forward to continuing to welcome you to the Clinic in the coming weeks and months.
