On 1st May we were delighted to once again sponsor the annual charity afternoon tea at The Assembly House here in the heart of Norwich.
This fabulous event sees over 100 businesses and individuals gather to support the charity and this is the second consecutive year we have supported this extremely worthwhile event. This year the nominated charity was Priscilla Bacon Hospice - a new charity for Norwich which is aiming to raise £12.5 million for a brand new hospice at the site of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Organised by two wonderful local business owners, Pippa Redmond from Norwich Print Solutions and Anna Stevenson from Stevenson Consulting, we were also thrilled to be joined by Harper Wells who sponsored the drinks reception and did a most interesting wine tasting masterclass. As one would expect from the multi-award-winning Assembly House the afternoon tea was sublime and Richard Hughes conducted a highly entertaining Cookery Demonstration. There was also live music from violinist Alison Sparrow.
Early indications suggest that the afternoon raised a record breaking sum and we are enormously proud to be involved in such a prestigious event which raises so much for deserving local charities. A big thank you to all those involved and to the wonderfully generous guests who attended on the day.
