On Wednesday 2nd May, we were thrilled to sponsor a charity afternoon tea at the multi award winning Assembly House.
Over 100 people gathered in The Noverre Ballroom at the Assembly House where they enjoyed a glass of fizz and a decadent Afternoon Tea whilst enjoying a cookery demonstration from Richard Hughes, along with a wine tasting masterclass from Adnams. There was also live music from pianist Carrie O’Donnel and there was the chance to win some amazing prizes in the charity raffle.
The event raised over £2000 in aid of Marie Curie, a charity which provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness and their families. They have been carrying out this vital work for over 65 years and last year alone they cared for over 40,000 people across the UK.
We were so thrilled to support the event, as Marie Curie is a fantastic charity which does such important work, so it was fabulous to be able to raise funds to help them, whilst ensuring that everyone had a wonderful afternoon in the process!
